Carolina Beach Library to extend hours
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) – Readers in Carolina Beach can rejoice – the chapter of the New Hanover County Library there will be extending its hours from half days to full days starting Tuesday, Sept. 4.
According to a news release, the new schedule will be as follows:
- Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Originally, the library’s hours were shortened back in 2009, when the county wanted to cut costs during a budget shortfall.
