New hotel proposed for empty lot in Carolina Beach
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) – Carolina Beach could see some new development soon.
A Hampton Inn and Suites is being proposed for the empty lot next to the Boardwalk.
The hotel would provide ocean-front rooms to more than 100 families. The proposed location is the same spot where a Hilton Garden Inn was supposed to go back in 2007.
Currently the empty space is used as a make-shift parking lot.
