Oyster roast will take place Saturday | Business

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – If you’re a fan of oysters, you won’t want to miss an event in Carolina Beach that will be held this weekend -- the Veggie Wagon, a business that delivers fresh, local produce, will be hosting its second annual Customer Appreciation Oyster Roast Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., according to the company’s Facebook page.

The event will include a band, a raffle, seasonal beer sampling and more.

If you bring three canned goods to the festival, you’ll earn a raffle ticket.
