CB Operations Center could move behind Maxway | Business
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) – The operations center in Carolina Beach could be moving to a wooded area behind the old Maxway building.
Mayor Bob Lewis said the move would help the town leave the land owned by Sunny Pointe Military Terminal.
Lewis said there’s enough buffer space to not bother local businesses.
The first part of the process, rezoning the land, starts next week.
