CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) - One of the most recognizable restaurants in Carolina Beach is getting a full makeover.
Tangerine, the orange-colored restaurant on Lake Park Boulevard, is now covered with a fresh coat of aquamarine paint.
Workers are putting the final touches on The Landing Bar and Grill, which will take over that location.
The new restaurant plans to offer a wide variety of different tastes including Louisiana barbeque, Thai fusion, and Caribbean flavors, in addition to traditional seafood dishes.
"There a million different seafood places out there, and we want to give people a taste of every country, instead of just regular seafood," said Chef Dwayne Page.
Page said he’s planning to offer a new theme every month, and that will offer customers a brand new adventure in dining .
The Landing is projected to open three weeks from now, and will have a soft opening next Wednesday.
