NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The Aquarium at Fort Fisher is hoping folks will come check out its two newest exhibits this weekend, and Friday, WECT got a sneak peek at them.
Starting this weekend, the North Carolina aquarium at Fort Fisher will be rolling out the exhibits Dolphin Discovery and the Right Whale Quest.
Aquarium director Peggy Sloan says they are trying to attract an older audience using these new interactive exhibits.
The Dolphin Discovery exhibit is modeled after a real-life dolphin named Holly, who lives off of our coast.
As users answer questions about dolphins, she moves and reacts like a real bottlenose dolphin.
The Right Whale Quest Exhibits allows users to take a 3-D virtual journey using the latest reality and gaming technology.
These new exhibits will be open and ready for the public starting on Saturday.
Admission is $8.
