Ocean Front Park is making progress | Community Spirit

KURE BEACH, NC (WECT) – Although construction is on hold for the Fourth of July holiday, there are updates to report for the Ocean Front Park.

According to the town, the new ADA crossover and boardwalk from K to L Avenue is complete and ready for use.

Four swings have been added in the area and benches will soon be added to the boardwalk.

The town will be offering commemorative/dedication opportunities for the swings, benches and boardwalk.

The town said part of the concrete has been poured and work on the public restroom has picked back up.
