Landshark Lager hosting Carolina Beach cleanup Saturday morning | Community Spirit

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) – Don’t have plans Saturday? Consider volunteering to help with a beach cleanup at Carolina Beach, and you might just win a paddleboard.

According to Carolina Beach officials, Landshark Lager and Ocean Conservancy organized a project called LandShark Fin-tastic Voyage, which is a series of east coast beach cleanups aimed to spread awareness to keep beaches trash-free.

Carolina Beach just so happened to be selected as one of the places to host one of the cleanups.

Participants should meet at the Carolina Beach gazebo at 10 a.m. and expect to donate their time until noon.

Those who volunteer can register to win a brand new paddleboard given away by Landshark, along with other prizes such as t-shirts.
