Volunteer some time to help keep the beaches clean
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Organizers of the Big Sweep are looking for volunteers to help pick up trash from our area beaches.
The event will take place Saturday, September 29 at Wrightsville, Carolina, and Kure Beaches.
Register to help by visiting www.keepnhcbeautiful.org and complete the Big Sweep Sign Up form.
Organizers remind volunteers to wear sunscreen, sturdy closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty.
