How far to the bar? Halloween 5K to benefit NC inlets | Community Spirit

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) – How far to the bar? Take part in a new 5k at Carolina Beach this Saturday night to benefit “Save the NC Inlets.”

Dress up in your fastest and most decorative Halloween costume and run for the bar. Fans will cheer you on as you run down Canal Drive. At the halfway point is a bar if you need a refreshment before you finish.

The race starts at 5:00 p.m., and the sun is expected to set at 5:58 p.m.  There will be awards for best costume, largest team, and age groups.

Registration is $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 mile fun run/walk. Click here to register for the race and for more information.
