PLEASURE ISLAND, NC (WECT) – Summer may be over, but that shouldn’t stop you from visiting the beach.

This Saturday, the Pleasure Island Fresh Market will be set up 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Carolina Beach Marina.

The market features a wide selection of local fresh foods and crafts, making it a great place to take care of your holiday shopping.

“As you are browsing the market, stop and talk with the vendors. They all have a great story about how they got to where they are. You will be inspired by their spirit and passion,” says market manager, Gayle Tabor.

The market will be open every Saturday, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. through December 8.
