Step up for Soliders: Compete in the Backyard BBQ Cook Off | Community Spirit

PLEASURE ISLAND, NC (WECT) – Step up for Soldiers is currently accepting applications for contestants and vendors for its Backyard BBQ Cook Off in January.

Thirty teams will take to their grills with their secret recipes in a friendly competition to raise money for Step up for Soldiers.

The event will take place in Carolina Beach Friday, Jan. 25, 7-10 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 26. Starting at 11 a.m.
