CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) – If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about nature and the habitats at Carolina Beach State Park, a hike will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., according to an event organizer.
Participants will join a park ranger in the Nature Trail (the Flytrap Trail) parking area to hike along the trails and learn about how habitat affects plants and animals that live in the park.
The event is free, and those who go on the hike are asked to wear good walking shoes and dress for the weather.
