Illuminating changes coming to baseball diamond
KURE BEACH, NC (WECT) – The Town of Kure Beach is looking forward to some illuminating changes coming this spring.
The town will install lights later this month at the baseball diamond in Joe Eaks park along K Street.
This will be the first time the field has had lights.
They are slated to be turned on in time for opening day of the new Cal Ripken Baseball League starting April 1.
