Kure Beach offers residents personalized planks, benches along new boardwalk | News

KURE BEACH, NC (WECT) - The Town of Kure Beach is is offering folks personalized planks, benches and swings, according a press release from Kure Beach officials.

The commemorations, which will help fund park activities and debt retirement, will be embedded into the boardwalk planks into the shape of a Bluefish, and two or three lines of print per plank cost $220.

Personalized benches on the boardwalk are $2,000, and benches are $1,800.

Those interested in making a mark on Kure Beach's boardwalk are asked to visit town hall or visit www.townofkurebeach.org for more information.
