PLEASURE ISLAND, NC (WECT) – Leaders in Carolina Beach voted Tuesday to throw out a law that banned tattoo parlors in town.

Tattoo parlors can open shop on the island, but they have to follow some limitations.

A business that wants to create the body art can only do so between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Additionally, they must be more than 200 feet away from a church or school.
